so how is everyone? i am alright in cam, about to go back to sunny (i think!) oman. yay spending cmas eve in a plane. what fun!

besides that, i have been busy applying for jobs - unfortunately companies are either being slow or rejecting me. so bit annoying right now. but the positive is that it cant get worse, so it must get better! yay.

with that dubious piece of reasoning behind us, lets move on rather quickly shall we. met some rather intersting interview candiadtes in the last weeks as they interview for a place in Magdalene, and wow do i feel old! however, i met some perfectly lovely ppl and i hope they do get in.

what else is new in my life? hmm. i passed my driving test so that was awesome. i can hopefully get a licence in oman and thus drive there, which would be super awesome really.

i also went down to an southampton for an interview - and met this girl called jacky, from scotland. and guess what - she went to ABA! she left before i joined though - but seriosuly, how freaky is that. meeitng omseone who went to my old school half a planet away. wierd. big time.

(btw the interview didnt go well, so dont bother asking about it :))

it also looks like the X-factor single will be the xmas hit single - just shows what appalling taste brits have eh. at least my taste has a reasoning. yeeesh. would have liked the JCB to grab number one slot - much much better song.

and dont even get me started on the cricket. ye gods. at least we finished with a win. surely plunkett should have got the man of match award - anderson did really well, but it was plunketts 24 and really tight bowling at the death which won the match. am i the only person with common sense???? ;)

even better, is the fact that the Indian Parliament is calling a special session to discuss the dropping of an Indian player from the national cricket team. um, hello anyone? hes not fit or in form. duh!! jeez. a whole parliament session?? what next - a session to consider whether the next bollywood mega flop was really a flop?

oh, and heres another amazing news bite. all to do with mera bharat mahan (i.e. my famous country)
